At Central Coast Shopfronts we do not have standard window and door sizes. All products are individually site measured to suit specific openings, giving you the freedom of design to make your home or commercial project unique.

Manufacturing

All aluminium products are manufactured at our premises in Lisarow by our team of highly skilled joiners using the latest technologies in frame preparation.

Each unit is fully assembled and tested before leaving our factory to guarantee high quality products and complete customer satisfaction.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a type of dry powder that is electrostatically charged then applied to an aluminium extrusion. The extrusion is then placed in an oven where the powder particles melt and coalesce to form a continuous film. The end result is smooth painted finish that is harder and tougher than conventional wet paint.

Powdercoating offers a wide range of colour selection as well as optional high performance warranty backed finishes. We cater for all available powdercoat colours and use only accredited powder applicators to ensure the painted finish lasts a lifetime. Note: If your project is within 5km of the coastline you may require high performance warranty paint.

Anodising

Anodising successfully combines science with nature to create one of the hardest aluminium finishes available. It is an electrochemical process that thickens and toughens the naturally occurring protective oxide.

When a high performance finish is required, anodising is the only finish in the metal industry that satisfies each of these main factors:

A wide range of anodised colours can be obtained through a process known as electrocolouring.

Anodised coating thickness can be varied from 10 microns to 25 microns to give the desired level of corrosion protection and wear resistance.

25 micron anodising is:

• Unaffected by salt water or tropical humidity
• Twice as hard as the surface of stainless steel
• Virtually unaffected by ultra-violet exposure
